Jordan Barrett’s Instagram appeal

JORDAN Barrett is putting his fame to good use.

The hunky 22-year-old Gold Coast-born model has joined forces with Tiffany & Co and Knot On My Planet ambassador Doutzen Kroes in a bid to raise money and awareness on the plight of elephant poaching.

In a video posted to his Instagram account, Barrett, Kroes and Naomi Campbell appear in a black and white clip that promotes the anti-poaching initiative #KnotOnMyPlanet.

In the video, the models appear to be wearing diamond encrusted elephant trinket necklaces as part of the new Tiffany & Co #TiffanySaveTheWild collection.

It is revealed in the video that the luxury jewellery company donated million dollars toward the cause.

“Did you know elephants pass cultural knowledge from generation to generation?” says Barrett at the beginning of the clip.

“Did you know that the rangers put their lives on the line every single day to save the elephants?

“I’m Jordan Barrett, and ‘Knot On My Planet.”

Barrett has been an advocate for the animal charity Save The Elephants for over a year and made his first visit to see the organisation in Kenya back in May.

Knot On My Planet launched in September 2016, with Kroes at the helm since day one.

Since then, more than .7 million dollars has been raised to end the slaughter of elephants for their ivory.
